Are mobility scooters available to hire?
Yes – Event Mobility will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show to hire. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk.
Please be aware that all mobility units must be booked in advance.

What facilities / amenities are provided at the show?
There are portaloos (including disabled portaloos) in three locations on the showground, a drinking water refill point, a baby changing & feeding tent, a charity-run creche & carry service for your purchases, and a cash back service at the Information tent.
To help you find your way around, a showground map is available in the show guide, and they are also printed on the What’s On boards dotted around the showground – these will have up-to-date locations for all the services.

DISABLED ACCESS
Parking
Disabled parking is available on hardstanding near the entrance to the showground.
Showground
Please be aware that the showground is on grass. It is all fairly level and flat, however the ground quality will depend on the weather preceding and during the show. Electric scooters and wheelchairs shouldn’t have any problems, but manual wheelchairs might struggle if ground conditions aren’t optimal. The pathways in the Walled Garden, as well as those leading to it, are flat and made of firm gravel.
All the marquees have carpeted or matted flooring, laid over grass.
Mobility Scooter Hire
Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs are available to hire from Event Mobility, and must be booked in advance to guarantee availability.
Facilities
There are long wooden benches dotted around the showground, as well as multiple seating areas with tables and chairs, some of which are under cover (these will be marked on the showground map as ‘Shaded Seating’).
Each block of toilets (portaloos) will have a wheelchair accessible unit.
To help you locate facilities, there will be a copy of the showground map on each of the ‘What’s On’ A-Frame boards dotted around the site.
